GERTRUDE — Fashion campaign

Project information

Isolation isn't an absence. It's a space. A territory where presence unfolds without noise, where every gesture becomes an assertion. For Gertrude, we explored this chosen solitude as an act of freedom, a necessary breath in the chaos of the world.

Our approach was built around a strong visual duality: a canyon and a skatepark. Two places that share the same topography, the same architecture of curves and lines — one carved by millennia of erosion, the other shaped by human hands. This symmetry embodies the idea that no matter where you are, any space can become a ground for expression, a stage where you fully exist.

In these settings emptied of any outside presence, each Gertrude piece — garments, balaclavas, mittens — becomes an act. A conscious choice. The clothes don't follow the movement, they meet it, they redefine it. We captured this silent energy: that of a person alone facing the void, transforming silence into power.

We developed three distinct deliverable formats — a film (horizontal and vertical), social media content (three vertical reels), and a photo series — by optimizing cost-effective parallel production. By intelligently combining shots, takes, and locations during a single shoot, we created an ecosystem of complementary content. The film establishes the narrative in its long form, the reels capture raw moments for social distribution, and the photo series freezes these moments of pure presence.

The production plays on contrasts between organic and constructed, between stillness and potential for movement. Grazing natural light in the canyon, hard shadows on the skatepark's concrete. Refined compositions where body and garment dialogue with space. In this assumed emptiness, Gertrude doesn't blend into the setting — she inhabits it, transforms it into an extension of herself.
