HEXATREK — Trek Attitude Portait

Project information

Before the departure, there's the decision. Before the Hexatrek, there's the moment when you tell yourself: I'm going to do this. This portrait of Nicolas Diamantara, aka Trek Attitude, captures that pivotal instant, that mental and physical preparation that precedes the immense. The portrait dives into his training, revealing his discipline, his determination, and his will to push beyond limits to tackle one of Europe's most demanding long-distance trails.

We followed Nicolas behind the scenes of his preparation, where the mental fortitude necessary to envision 3,034 kilometers of walking and 138,000 meters of elevation gain is forged. What drives a man to embark on such a project? What part dream, what part inner necessity? The portrait explores his deep motivations, this personal quest that extends far beyond the athletic framework. There's something in this adventure that speaks to tribute, to legacy, to the need to prove — to oneself, above all — that you can go the distance.

Our narrative approach refuses easy glorification. No perfect hero, no empty motivational speeches. Just a man facing his doubts, his fears, his ambition. The images capture the physical training — the long walks, the weight of the pack, the muscle building — but also the mental preparation, those solitary moments when you visualize the path, when you anticipate exhaustion, when you wonder if you'll hold up.

This portrait planted the seeds of what would become our documentary Face à face, the 90-minute film that would follow Nicolas throughout his journey across France. From project to journey, from intention to realization, we accompanied this adventure from start to finish, privileged witnesses to a human transformation as impressive as the landscapes crossed.

Trek Attitude isn't just an outdoor YouTuber. He's an example of what happens when determination meets vulnerability, when ambition accepts doubt. This portrait tells the before to better understand the during and the after.
