VIBE — Fashion campaign
Project information
Escape isn't always a departure. Sometimes, it's a confrontation. The campaign we designed for Vibe captures the raw energy of a universe where time seems suspended, where every object carries a memory. It traces an attachment to the material, both sentimental and oppressive, questioning its necessity.
Our visual universe is rooted in the industrial. Raw concrete, metal structures, abandoned spaces that breathe wear and authenticity. At the heart of this setting, a vintage Datsun 240Z — a timeless mechanical icon, relic of an era when objects were built to last. Flaming red against mineral gray. It doesn't simply decorate the scene, it converses with it, embodies this tension between possession and freedom.
The artistic direction plays on a strong chromatic contrast: the incandescent red of the car responds to the green of the outfit, creating a visual dynamic that pulses. Complementary colors that clash and balance. This palette isn't arbitrary — it amplifies the message, makes tangible this duality between what we own and what owns us. On the sonic level, race commentary from a vintage edition of the 24 Hours of Le Mans creates an auditory accompaniment, a nostalgic echo of a bygone era that dialogues with the stillness of the scene.
Vibe doesn't seek to seduce through ease. No forced smiles, no sanitized staging. Just a raw presence in an environment that tells a story. The clothes become urban armor, silent declarations in a world saturated with noise. Every shot questions: what really matters? What do we keep? What do we leave behind?
Escape, ultimately, isn't geographic. It's mental. A conscious choice to shed the superfluous or embrace our attachments. Vibe captures this in-between, this productive tension that defines an entire generation.
